We also all have an [[inner coach]] who can point out our strengths, celebrate our wins & encourage us when things get tough. Unfortunately for many of us, our inner critic is quicker & louder than our inner coach. So we end up focussing on our negatives and taking our positives for granted. To balance them out, we need to practise listening out for our inner coach. One way to connect to your inner coach is to regularly [[Set a Reminder|set reminders]] to ask yourself this question: What do I appreciate about myself today? [[Journalling|Record your answers]] somewhere so that when you're feeling particularly down, you can remind yourself of all the things - big & small - that you appreciate about yourself.
