Being centred allows you to respond to life's events with wisdom.
From your centre, you can decide whether you need to persist with a task or [[The Importance of Conserving Energy|save your energy]] for something else.
From your centre, you can choose the [[values]] you want to express in any given moment.
There are many practices that help you find your centre:

- [[qigong]]
- yoga
- prayer
- camping
- looking at the night sky
- sitting or walking in natural environments
- exercises like swimming/jogging/walking
What these practices have in common is they help [[Anchor Yourself|ground you]] when you get lost in your thoughts.
They help you to stay [[Be Present|present]] to moment.
They also help you see the bigger picture, so that you can put your current circumstances into perspective.
And all of that allows you to make the wisest choices possible for [[healing]] and [[health]], when there are so many unknowns and uncertainties about how long Long COVID or similar conditions will last.
