May you always be kind to yourself.
When it's your own body or mind that's letting you down, please remember to be kind to yourself.
If you saw someone with a broken arm trying to do something, would you criticise them for their difficulties? Probably not. Instead, wouldn't you be looking for some way of helping them out or encouraging them?
When you're living with symptoms of an illness long after you were sick, it's like having a broken arm - only it's invisible. Your body still needs time to heal and to recover its strength and health.
Being kind to yourself when you're in this condition isn't being 'soft' on yourself.
It's essential to reducing self-inflicted stress and reducing stress will go a long way towards supporting your body and mind to heal.
