# Back into the Fog

Sadly, I didn't have capacity to do what I wanted to do this week. I had grand plans (sort of). I was going to post a new blog. I was going to plant some leeks. I was going to catch up on my bookkeeping.
Instead, I struggled with time management. I should've expected that, knowing that having brain fog means my sense of time is a bit all over the place. I was forgetting to look at my calendar. I was pretty bad at estimating how much time it would take me to do something and deadlines seemed so far away - why stress myself about them right now?
It's weeks like these that bring up worries about the future. I start doubting that I can achieve anything I had planned to do this year. Or ever. I know thinking like that is rarely useful. *Thank you Mind for your concern about my future. Let me focus on what I need to do right now.*
So I had more naps. I did more qigong. My focus was on healing rather than getting things done.
Thankfully, my appointment to see the GP was on a day that there was someone at home to remind me of it. She recommended a herbal supplement that's supposed to help reduce a number of symptoms, including brain fog.
Now, to remember to buy some...
*(I wrote this up in August 2025, a week after [[IRL - Clearing the Fog]], but forgot to post it until October 2025.)*

>The article above describes one of my personal experiences recovering from Long COVID. It's not intended to imply or prescribe a treatment for it.

>My intention in sharing my experience is let readers with similar symptoms know that recovery is possible and maybe inspire them to look at what they can personally do to reduce their own symptoms.

>Remember to check with your GP before starting anything new that affects your health.
